For the Holiday weekend my family and I went camping to our favorite spot…the Spruces! We’ve had this spot reserved for like 6 months and I’ve been so excited for it!
July 4th-We got all ready, packed up and headed out around 10:30. First, we had to drop off my two pups at my Grandma’s house, that is honestly the hardest part about going on vacation haha. After grabbing lunch at Gringo’s we headed up to the Spruces! My parents and I got there around 1, set up our tent and got all unpacked. Jamie, Tommy, and the boys got there an hour later. Soon followed by Brad and Kami who just put up there tent then had to go back down the canyon for a family party but they came back up to sleep over. Matt, Chelsee and Scout came up to hang out and stay for dinner. Dinner we had hobo dinners, which were delicious! Even though mine did not want to cook, thanks to Sean and Carson for sharing theirs :) The rest of the night we just enjoyed each others company, had lots of laughs and delicious s’mores! I don’t mean to brag or anything, but I’m basically a profesh when it comes to marshmallow roasting.

July 5th-Today was a visitation day for us. My aunts, uncles, cousins and grandpa came up for lunch and stayed for most of the day. We had such a fun time together. The little cousins had tons of fun playing.

July 6th-For the past two nights, it rained all night. It got pretty chilly but luckily I always come prepared. Saturday morning we all got up pretty early and headed to a little lake to fish. Sadly, the lake was packed and all of the good spots were taken. We did find a small spot and only my dad and brother-in-law fished but it was still fun and it was a very pretty view. Afterwards we went back to camp to eat lunch. Then we all decided to go on a hike up to Donut Falls!

July 7th-Last day :( Today we woke up early, had breakfast and started packing. We had to be out of there by 1 so we hurry and packed everything up and then went on a nice long bike ride. This was a super fun and relaxing trip! Definitely can’t wait to go again! (Maybe even next time Mike will be there!! :D)
Our awesome campground! And it was only 30 seconds away from the bathroom ;)
