I have a wonderful sister, an awesome brother-in-law, and the bestest nephews. My brother-in-law does dirt bike races, and last weekend he had a race down in St. George and they all being so awesome invited me along :)
Last Friday morning we left around 7 am. It’s about a 4 hour drive to St. George. Once finally in sunny 70 degree weather of St. George, we ate lunch at Red Robin (yumm). After we got settled in at our hotel, we went to this awesome children's museum that had tons of awesome things for kids (of all ages) to learn about and play with and just have fun.
Off we go!
The Children’s Museum…
Well, I found me a new job ;)
Carson sorting the mail
Tommy checking the engine
Gotta check the baggage through security
Ready for our flight!
They had a flight simulation too
Time to pay for the groceries
This is a giant bubble Sean is blowing on
Carson jamming out
There was a bunch of other things that we did but we were too busy having fun to take pictures :)
Outside the museum was this awesome little water park where the kids could play. They were both having tons of fun until this kid accidentally ran into Sean and knocked him down. He was totally okay, just a little shaken up.
Karate Choppin the water
After going back to the hotel and drying off, we decided to get some delicious ice cream from Nielsen's Frozen Custard!
Saturday was the day of Tommy’s race so the 4 of us spent the day goofing. We went to Fiesta Fun Center where we played in the arcade, played mini golf, drove go-carts and of course had tons of fun, the fiesta way.
After all that playing, it was time for some lunch.
We took our soccer ball and headed to a park to play
Sean was pretty pooped after all the playing.
After a little rest, it was back to the water park but this time we brought their swimming suits. Carson was all into it and got totally drenched. But I think that Sean was still a little scared about getting knocked down by that kid the day before. He barely even got wet. But we all still had fun. Carson especially had fun with a ball that he won from Fiesta Fun. And Sean thought it was hilarious to put his plastic shark in the middle of the fountain and watch it shoot up with the water.
Flip-Flop kind of weather=the best kind of weather
Drying off
Tommy’s race finally ended and he did pretty well. He did get a flat tire though. We all took a rest at the hotel after our long day. Then right before dinner we went to “The Crack”. It’s a short hike where you have to squeeze through the canyon. The last time I did this hike was with Mike…and during that time, Tommy wasn’t able to fit but I’m happy to report that he squeezed his way through :)
Starting the hike. Think skinny thoughts…

It was a great little hike before a delicious dinner at, as my nephews would call it, “the rice and chips place”, La Frontera.
We headed home Sunday but not before going on another hike. We hiked somewhere I have never been before, Gun Lock, it was super awesome and very pretty. I sadly didn’t get any pictures. That was a super long ride home but luckily Jamie got her milkshake from Dairy Queen that she had been wanting since we left. Haha. When we got home we ended the night with the Walking Dead. It was a fantastic trip! So much fun! I wish that it could have been longer but it was a nice little getaway to a slightly warmer place :) Thanks for the fun trip Bowcutt Bunch!!! Love you guys!
